Positioned on Pooler Parkway within approximately 1 mile of I-16 and 4 miles of I-95,
and minutes the Georgia Ports, Savannah Logistics Park is an excellent solution for any
bulk distribution requirements.
With ongoing growth of the Georgia Ports Authority’s Garden City terminal, which has
become the 2nd largest container port on the East Coast and 4th largest in the nation,
the surrounding Savannah area is a popular destination for big box retailers such as Wal-Mart,
Home Depot, Lowe’s, Target, and IKEA. Savannah Logistics Park’s accessibility and 1,036,162
square feet of space, along with the innovative design, provides the accommodations that is
needed for the warehousing demands in the Southeast.

The Savannah Harbor Expansion Project, or SHEP, is the number one priority
for the Georgia Ports Authority. SHEP would increase the depth of the Savannah
River channel from 42’ to 48’ allowing it to accommodate the world’s most
modern ships and continue to fuel the growth of Savannah and the State of
Georgia. When the project receives final approvals, it could be completed
by 2012, two years ahead of the Panama Canal expansion project.
